Galit holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and got her certification as a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has practiced therapy in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, day treatment programs, and private practices. She specializes in women's mental health. Women dealing with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, grief, reproductive trauma, perinatal mood disorders, and postpartum.
Galit integrates a holistic approach, viewing each individual as a whole, with multiple modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and the Strength Based Therapy to support and guide her clients in achieving their health goals. Galit creates safe space where her clients feel seen and heard, which she believes is paramount to the client-therapist relationship. She's currently licensed in MD, DC, and VA and works with adult women, including the elderly.
